FHSD Families Celebrate Literacy at 14th Annual P.A.T. Read-In

Francis Howell Parents As Teachers held their 14^th annual Read-In on March 6, 2010, at Meadows Parkway. The theme for the day was “Celebrating the World Around Us through Non-Fiction Books”. 

In addition to lots of fun, literacy-based activities for families, the following guest readers from our community shared their love of reading:  Stephen Johnson and Mike Sommer, School Board Members; Chuck Gatschenberger and Joe Smith, State Representatives; Officer Craig Hebrank, Saeger Middle Resource Officer; Martha Radginski, McClay Road Librarian; and Jana Schultz, Administrative Intern at Independence Elementary. There were 170 families from the Francis Howell community who attended this event.
