This free community event is an opportunity for parents and residents to learn more about the heroin and opioid prescription crisis in St. Charles County.

The program will be presented by a panel of professionals to help educate and inform community members on how to be proactive in the growing epidemic of heroin and substance abuse.
The panel will include presentations from:

  • Tim Lohmar, St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney
  • Lisa Cassidy & Kyle Gaines, St. Charles County Ambulance District
  • Scott Collier, Drug Enforcement Agency
  • Beth Sailors, Preferred Family Health

Child care will be available on-site, provided courtesy of Hollenbeck Leadership Students. A free prescription drug collection will also be available at the event, to allow residents to dispose of expired or unused medications.
