At FHC six spring programs and 15 out of 17 individual spring teams had a combined cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher. In all, there were a total of 282 student-participants involved with MSHSAA sanctioned activities and their cumulative GPA was 3.19. The total of the 2011-2012 school year showed that 26 out of 28 programs and 50 out of our 71 (70.4%) individual teams/groups have had a combined cumulative GPA of 3.00 of higher. The average GPA for 816 at FHC participants in MSHSAA sanctioned activities was 3.31.
All spring sports at FHHS, including those not represented above, earned a combined average GPA of 3.26. The combined 2011-2012 MSHSAA sports and non-athletic groups including those not listed above earned a combined average GPA of 3.4.
This is a tremendous accomplishment and each high school congratulates all student-participants, their coaches and their families and recognizes them for the commitment, dedication and hard work it takes to succeed not only on the playing field, but more importantly, the classroom.
In acknowledgement of each students effort and hard work team pictures and a copy of the MSHSAA Award Certificate will be displayed at each high school throughout the school the year.
