What's Happening in FHSD?
Francis Howell Central (FHC) Alumni Kyle Bradley, Brad Dieckhaus and Terrel Wilbourn continue to dominate the mat at the collegiate level.
The Francis Howell North (FHN) Winter Guard recently took home the gold medal in the Scholastic Open Division at the 2012 Mid-Continent Color Guard Association (MCCGA) Championship competition, which took place Saturday, March 24 in Willard, MO. FHN moved to the Scholastic Open Division in the middle of the competition season after winning multiple MCCGA and Winter Guard International (WGI) Scholastic A competitions.
Francis Howell High School (FHHS), Francis Howell Central (FHC) High School and Francis Howell North (FHN) High School publication programs and students received Superior ratings, the highest rating possible, at the Sponsors of School Publications of Greater St. Louis Conference on March 12.
Sharese Jones, Francis Howell Central (FHC) High School girls basketball player and Kourtlyn Adams, junior tennis player and track and field participate have been selected as the area’s outstanding high school scholar athletes that will be recognized at the Larry Hughes All-Star Athletic Awards Luncheon. The awards banquet is sponsored by the St. Louis Gateway Classic Sports Foundation.
The Francis Howell School District (FHSD) high school Raven Robotics, Team 1288 recently competed in the St. Louis Regional First Robotics Competition. The team was one of 43 teams to participate in the competition.
Lights, camera, action! Students from Central Elementary, John Weldon Elementary, Warren Elementary, Francis Howell Middle School, Hollenbeck Middle School and Francis Howell Central (FHC) High School recently won the 2011 Show-Me a Movie Digital Storytelling Contest sponsored by Cooperating School District (CSD).
The Francis Howell Central (FHC) High School Varsity Girls Basketball team is the winner of the 2012 Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) Class 5 District 8 Championship.
Several Students from Francis Howell School District (FHSD) high schools placed at the annual District 6 Career Development Conference held February 8 at The Mills Mall in Hazelwood, Mo.
Francis Howell High School (FHHS) and Francis Howell North (FHN) Winter Guard recently competed in the 2012 Winter Guard International (WGI) Kansas City Regional Scholastic A Championships.
Francis Howell School District proudly announces the recipients of the distinguished honor of Teacher of the Year. This year’s winners will be recognized at the annual Howell of Fame awards ceremony on May, 7, 2012.
