Saeger Holds Fifth Annual Winter Warm Up

Saeger Middle recently hosted their second annual Turkey Bowl, where students and staff bowl real frozen turkeys to raise money to purchase turkeys to families in need. Henderson students enjoy presentation stations about life 100 years ago

A lot can change in a century, but some things never change. Think of all the improvements to our lives that have been born in the last 100 years, and the list goes on and on. From improvements as advanced as cell phones to as simple as the proliferation of indoor plumbing, the world is just a better place to live in. What hasn’t changed, however, is the dedication of the Francis Howell School District (FHSD) in serving the educational needs of the St. Charles County area. A rare constant in an ever-changing world, FHSD continues to find new ways to reach students of all levels and abilities. And the 100 Years of Education Celebration on Dec. 5 at Henderson Elementary was a perfect example.   READ MORE...

Spectra students at Spectrapalooza

As elementary students get ready for the next step up, middle school, the tension can be a bit overwhelming – even for gifted students. So the Francis Howell School District (FHSD) hosts an annual event where the District’s fifth grade Spectra students all assemble for a morning of exploration to answer questions and team-build with their prospective teachers and fellow students. It’s just what a Spectra student desires – an information extravaganza. It’s a chance for students to share their intellectual gifts. And it’s called Spectrapalooza.  READ MORE...

After making Spartan soccer history with the team’s first Final Four invitation in school history, Francis Howell Central (FHC)Head Coach Derek Phillips knows that all the hard work his players put in over the season paid off. But it always makes it even more worth it when you take home some hardware. Coach Phillips and several of his players were honored by the Missouri State High School Soccer Coaches Association (MSHSSCA) with Coach of the Year and Player of the Year awards.   READ MORE...
