Attendance Calendar 2012-2013: The Board of Education recently approved the 2012-2013 calendar, which is very similar to the 2011-2012 calendar. Some minor changes were made as a result of input solicited from various stakeholders within the District.
Attendance Calendar 2011-2012: The 2011-2012 calendar was developed by the FHSD Calendar Task Force and approved by the Board of Education at the October 21, 2010 Board meeting. The 169 day calendar consolidates the current elementary and secondary calendars into a format where students at all levels will attend on the same days.
*On June 2, the Board approved a revised calendar to include four additional snow make-up days. A change to the original 2010-2011 calendar was necessitated by an unusually large amount of inclement weather during this past winter. In that calendar the number of snow make up days was increased from six to ten. This revised calendar includes ten snow make up days for 2011-2012, so that revisions later in the year will not be necessary.
