FHSD Celebrates School Principals’ Day May 1

Posted on 05/01/2017

On May 1, 2017, the Francis Howell School District (FHSD) will celebrate National School Principals’ Day, recognizing the leadership and dedication of principals, assistant principals, and other administrators who help guide the instruction, and instructors, of our most precious resource – our students. National School Principals’ Day provides the opportunity to acknowledge and show our appreciation for all the contributions principals make to our school communities.

In FHSD, we have outstanding principals who strive to ensure a safe and welcoming learning environment for students and staff. They work tirelessly in collaborative ways to direct, develop, and inspire members of the school staff and student body. They endeavor to communicate effectively with parents, perpetually working to keep them engaged in the learning process. They have the fortitude to make the tough decisions when one is needed, the wisdom to listen to others, and the heart to never forget why they are here – for the benefit of students.

FHSD is extremely fortunate to have principals who first and foremost, truly care about our kids. Every day they make tough decisions and help to ensure that our students are receiving the best education possible.

Please take a moment on National School Principals’ Day to say thank you to a school principal for all the great things they do for the school community. They are our leaders, our friends, and they deserve a moment of appreciation.
