FHSD - For Students

The Francis Howell School District will be increasing the price of school lunch and ala carte items for the 2008-2009 school year. The District’s food service program has seen a significant increase in the cost of food over the past year with the rapid escalation in cost of both dairy and grain products. These increases particularly affect school food service programs, given their heavy dependence upon milk, other dairy products, and grain products.

With an increase of $0.15 per meal and an average increase of five percent for ala care items, the District’s lunch prices remain well below most of our comparison districts. Please refer to the below chart for lunch prices for the 2008-2009 school year.
