Mr. Ray Eernisse joined Francis Howell School District as its Chief
Information Officer on June 1, 2006. Mr. Eernisse brings over 20 years
of technology experience to FHSD and recently served the students of the
Granite City #9, School District as the Director of Information Systems.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Eernisse was an analyst for AIC Inc. where
his responsibilities included the analysis, design and programming of
diverse clientele software for private and publicly held corporations.
Ray has also served as the Assistant Director of Computer Services for
Fontbonne University. Mr. Eernisse’s educational background includes a
Master’s Degree in Computing Management Information Systems from
Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville and a Bachelor’s Degree in
Business Administration from Fontbonne University.
As the Chief Information Officer, Mr. Eernisse will serve Francis Howell
as a leader on the Superintendent’s Executive Cabinet with primary
responsibilities for district-wide academic and administrative
technology planning, curricular support, administrative and academic
technology training, along with, the supervision of hardware and
software purchases for the District. In addition, Mr. Eernisse will lead
the District Technology Advisory Committee working in collaboration with
parents, patrons, faculty and staff to produce and update the District’s
Instructional Technology plan.
