Values

Gifted Children

• We believe gifted children have an intense desire to explore and question their universe.
• We believe gifted children are at risk of not achieving their full potential due to their extreme diversity in social-emotional, physical, and academic maturity.

Importance of Gifted Education

• We will make available a program that provides a differentiated curriculum for academically gifted students in the areas of thinking, performance, and research skills as well as affective awareness necessary to meet their needs.
• We will provide interventions to accommodate the child’s passion for learning and their need for creative expression.

Diversity

• We view gifted children are diverse compared to their chronological peers due to their elevated intellectual and creative abilities and therefore, need of support and validation from those who nurture their giftedness.

Partnerships

• We consider the partnership of home, school, and community is crucial to the success of gifted children.

Parents:

• We support and value the important role of the family in helping the gifted child reach his/her full potential.

Environment:

• We will provide the gifted children an environment in which they can interact with their intellectual peers.
