SEGA Program
Rationale

The Francis Howell School District affirms that students with exceptionally gifted abilities require an academic curriculum, educational experiences, and attention to affective needs above and beyond that of the regular Gifted Education program. Participation in the SEGA program allows students to achieve at a level commensurate with their abilities and interests while integrating within an appropriate peer group. The program allows for a broader range of education and provides a unique opportunity to meet the student’s individual needs.
