The Healthy Minds, Healthy Schools Curiosity, Connection & Culture virtual event will be held on Zoom from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 28. The session will help caregivers build strong emotional bonds at home while raising broad-minded, compassionate, global citizens.

A mobile app is now available to help expedite the check-in and verification process for school visitors. The Raptor Safe app provides a quick and secure way to verify an individual’s identity in advance and allows parents and other visitors to check in using a simple QR code.

New learning series aims to recognize and celebrate student cultures

September marks the launch of a new educational series designed to celebrate the many cultures represented in our school communities. Each month as part of the new Howell Heritage Highlights, the District will recognize a particular heritage month.

Introducing the Citizens In Our Schools Class of ‘27 Cohort

The Francis Howell School District kicked off its community engagement program on Wednesday, Sept. 2 with an opening reception for the Citizens In Our Schools Class of ‘27 cohort. Over the course of nine months, 29 citizens will get a behind-the-scenes look at all aspects of school district operations.
