FHSD student competes in SkillsUSA competition
Three FHSD Students Compete at the National SkillsUSA Conference

FHSD students Jimmy Johnson (FHHS), Mason Aguilar (FHC), and Amanda Hasenbeck (FHN) traveled to Louisville in June for the SkillsUSA’s 55th annual National Leadership and Skills Conference. Johnson finished eighth in the nation in HVAC Sheet Metal, Aguilar finished eleventh in Power Equipment Technology, and Hasenbeck finished twenty-second in the nation in Medical Terminology. More than 15,000 students, teachers, education leaders, and representatives from 600 national corporations and labor unions participated in the event, the world’s largest showcase of skilled trades and skill competitions.
