Parent University

The most successful students often have parents who are very involved in their education. To assist our parents and help them build their knowledge and resources, the Francis Howell School District will host the third annual Parent University on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018, at Saeger Middle School.

What is Parent University? 
Parent University is a community collaboration led by the Francis Howell School District to assist and empower families, schools, and community partners in engaging our children’s learning and development. 
 
When is Parent University?
The third annual Parent University will be held on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018, at Saeger Middle School in Cottleville. Registration and the vendor fair begin at 8:00 AM, with sessions from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM.

Who can attend? 
Parent University sessions are for FHSD residents who want to learn more about education, child development, wellness, personal development and more. Parents, grandparents, foster parents, single parents, aunts, uncles and guardians are welcome to attend. 

What is the cost to attend?
Parent University is FREE for any FHSD resident to attend, but advanced registration is required. This learning opportunity  is funded by non-taxpayer revenue and vendor fees.

What sessions are being offered?
Parents will have the opportunity to attend sessions from the following session tracks: Academic Support, Health and Wellness, and Preparing for College.
