Return to Activities/Athletics Guidelines

District high school activities and athletics announced the continued process of returning to participation when Phase 2 began on July 1 and are now in Phase 4. Student and staff safety is always a top priority of the Francis Howell School District and our schools. These guidelines were developed through the collaborative efforts of the District, medical professionals, and the St. Charles County Health Department. Read more…

Venue Guidelines

Due to COVID-19 the Francis Howell School District has released updated guidelines for fans attending District events that help to promote the safety of all students, staff, parents and fans. For the beginning of the 2020-21 school year, all FHSD venues will have reduced seating capacity to help ensure social distancing. The venues will be marked for socially distanced seating and all fans in attendance will be asked to socially distance from non-family members. Seating will be marked so families can sit together while socially distancing from others. In addition to social distancing, at all events, face coverings will be required. These guidelines will be in place at all Francis Howell School District events and will be similar to what other school districts will be requiring when we travel to their venue. Youth Spectator Guidelines

All students and children currently enrolled in the eighth grade and younger must be accompanied and directly supervised by an adult to be admitted to or remain at the event. We expect students and children to remain under the supervision of the adult that they are attending the event with.

Youth spectators as described above will not be admitted to the stadium without a designated adult. Any youth spectators without a designated adult will be held outside the stadium until their parents come to pick them up or accompany them into the game.

Accompanying adults are asked to maintain active supervision of those youth spectators for which they have assumed responsibility for the entire contest. Any youth spectators found to be without adult supervision will be returned to the adult(s) that brought them to the event. If the adult(s) are unable to be found, the student will be escorted from the stadium until a responsible adult arrives to pick them up. There is no re-entry once a spectator leaves an event.

New for the Fall 2020 Season
- Spectators MUST wear a mask to enter the stadium and keep it on at all times.
- Social Distancing MUST be observed in the bleachers and while standing throughout the stadium.
- Stadium bleachers will be cleared marked to designated spaces for seating.
