What is the A+ Program?
SIMPLY PUT:
Two free years of community college when you have
1) A 2.5 Unweighted GPA or higher
2) Maintain 95% school attendance or better
3) Perform 50 hours of qualified tutoring

A+ Grant
A+ students who also score three or better on at least two AP exams in the areas of math and science are now eligible to receive a one-time grant of $500.00. However, they must apply to receive this money. Please see the following website for more information.
the more Detailed Requirements:
1. Attend a designated A+ High School for any two of the four years prior to high school graduation.
2. Graduate from high school with a GPA of 2.5 or better, computed upon a 4.0 scale. Only the UNWEIGHTED GPA is used to calculate eligibility for A+.
3. Maintain a 95% attendance record for the four-year period while enrolled in high school.
4. Perform 50 hours of student tutoring on FHSD property. All tutoring must be supervised by a FHSD employee by January 1st of the student’s senior year.
5. Maintain a record of good citizenship according to the State A+ Schools Program, FHSD Code of Conduct, and FHHS Student Handbook.
