FHSD to Hold Basic Yoga Community Education Class

The Francis Howell School District is launching a Community Education Program. The purpose of the program is to enrich the lives of FHSD citizens by providing quality, affordable educational opportunities and activities for the adults in our community. The Community Education Program will be paid for by participant registration fees.

The District is working to establish a series of classes to offer the community based on the feedback our community provided via a survey earlier this spring. The most requested class our community asked for was yoga. FHSD is happy to announce our first class will be an eight-week Basic Yoga class that begins Aug. 2 and goes through Sept. 22. The classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 – 7:00 PM, in the Hollenbeck Middle School Small Gym. No class will be held Aug. 25. The fee for the class is $42.50. Participants must 14+ years old, and should bring a yoga mat and water bottle to class.
