FHSD Celebrates Teachers During Teacher Appreciation Week

Teachers deliver so much to our students – instruction, perspective, hope, inspiration and motivation. They work to help shape the future, and the future of our students. During Teacher Appreciation Week, May 1-5, the Francis Howell School District (FHSD) celebrates our teachers with the gratitude and thanks they deserve for all of the countless hours they work for the benefit of our students.

As inspiring leaders in the Francis Howell community, FHSD teachers take on the role of friend, motivator, mentor, supporter, role model, listener, and much more. Teachers work to open students’ minds to ideas, knowledge, and dreams. Teachers have an impact on students every day, while continuously enhancing their teaching practices and learning environments. Encouraging and advocating for high standards for students, FHSD teachers go above and beyond the call of duty to meet the educational needs of our students.

As teachers and leaders in this community, they are an inspiration to all. Thank you to our teachers for choosing a profession that plays a prominent role in building and enriching our communities. The work they do, day in and day out, instills value and character in our students and families.

Please take a moment to #ThankaMOTeacher for all of their contributions to the education of our students, and the leadership they provide to the young lives of the community.
