FHSD Celebrates American Education Week Nov. 13-19

In an effort to raise awareness about the critical need to provide every child with a quality public education, the Francis Howell School District (FHSD) will celebrate the National Education Association's (NEA) 95th annual American Education Week celebration, Nov. 13–19, 2016. FHSD will join millions of Americans and hundreds of school districts nationwide in the American Education Week celebration by spreading the word about the important role of public schools in the lives of students.

The American Education Week's tagline, "Great Public Schools: A Basic Right and Our Responsibility," represents NEA's vision of calling upon all Americans to do their part in making public schools great for every child, so that they can grow, prosper and achieve in the 21st century.

All public schools provide a safe, positive and caring environment for all students, as well as the tools needed to succeed. FHSD educators, administrators, teachers, support staff, counselors, and nurses are outstanding individuals who play a vital role in creating an environment and partnership conducive for all learning. These dedicated professionals help to ensure that every child has access to a quality public education.

Francis Howell School District would like you to join us in recognizing and celebrating the efforts and dedication of everyone involved in educating the young people of our community. Together, we are making great public schools for every child. Thank you for supporting our local public schools.
