FHSD Celebrates Maintenance and Custodian Appreciation Week Oct. 1-5

From spotless floors to roof repairs, the Francis Howell School District custodial and maintenance staff work hard every day to keep our facilities clean and safe. They roll up their sleeves and work diligently to make sure that FHSD is a great place to learn, teach, and work. During National Maintenance and Custodian Worker Appreciation Week, held this year during the week of Oct. 1-5, 2018, we celebrate and show our appreciation to these dedicated men and women.

“Day in and day out, they arrive early and stay late to make sure that our schools are great places to be and are conducive to teaching and learning,” said FHSD Superintendent Dr. Mary Hendricks-Harris. “They are a crucial part of the FHSD family.”

Bretta - Central Elementary CustodianFHSD custodians and maintenance staff work behind the scenes to keep our facilities and grounds clean, safe, and well-maintained. They help protect the community’s investment in school buildings, grounds, and equipment.

Join us in recognizing all of our maintenance and custodial staff this week by letting them know how much everything they do is appreciated.
