FHSD names Dr. Kenneth Roumpos as Superintendent

​The Francis Howell School District announced today that Dr. Kenneth Roumpos will serve as its next Superintendent of Schools. Roumpos has served as the District’s interim superintendent since July 1, 2022 and as deputy superintendent for two years prior. In a special meeting last week, the Board voted unanimously to offer Roumpos a three-year superintendent contract, which will officially begin July 1, 2023 when his current contract expires.   Read more about FHSD names Dr. Kenneth Roumpos as Superintendent

FHSD Learning Commons (school libraries) have a broad selection of books, in print and online, available for students to check out. See what our school libraries have to offer by clicking on the ‘Learning Commons’ tab on your school’s web page and then selecting ‘Find a Book’. Niche has just released its 2023 list of Best Schools in America, and has ranked the Francis Howell School District (FHSD) #8 in Missouri. Return to School Plan 2022-23

As the Francis Howell School District prepares to enter into the 2022-2023 school year post-pandemic, the District will return to pre-pandemic policies, procedures and protocols. The Return to School Plan, approved by the Board of Education on August 18, 2022, includes information about positive cases, masks, contact tracing and quarantine, exposure notifications, and symptomatic students and staff.   Read more about Return to School Plan 2022-23
