Tim Scholle Announced as Interim Principal of Castlio Elementary for 2018-19

The FHSD Board of Education has appointed Tim Scholle as the interim principal of Castlio Elementary for 2018-19. Scholle has been an assistant principal at Castlio since 2013 and plans to continue the school’s tradition of serving as the lighthouse of the community.

“I am extremely excited for the opportunity to be the building principal at Castlio Elementary,” Scholle said. “Castlio’s staff is a family. We support one another other each and every day. We stand with each other through the best of times and the most challenging of times.”

I am excited to take all that I have learned from Dr. Niedringhaus and be a supportive leader for all at Castlio.”

Before working as an administrator at Castlio, Scholle taught second, third, and fourth grades at Central Elementary and also taught summer school. But at every turn, Scholle has sought to enhance and prove his leadership abilities, volunteering to serve on several District committees and leadership teams. With all that experience and dedication, Scholle has great plans for next school year.

“My goals as a principal are to continue to make Castlio a great place for students, staff,  and families,” Scholle said. “Castlio has always had a great sense of community and closeness. Relationships are so important in the work that we do each and every day. I want to make sure we continue to make Castlio a caring community that puts the work of our mission and vision out front, to empower a community of successful learners, and create a safe environment that fosters learning and leadership.”

Something Scholle believes will help the school continue its success under his leadership is the outstanding community that supports it. “The Castlio community is such a caring, supportive community. Our parent support through our PTO, family engagement team and our volunteers make a tremendous impact on our students and our teachers. I am beyond excited to continue to build these relationships to provide what’s best for our kids at Castlio.”

Being a former teacher, Scholle appreciates the team he is about to lead. “Our teachers at Castlio work so hard to ensure that every student has the chance to be successful. They work so hard to move students forward both academically and socially. They are the backbone of what we do, and the relationships they build with our students have a life long-lasting impact.”

Scholle is clearly focused on kids and their success. “Our students are amazing. I have had the opportunity to develop positive relationships with our students and have watched many of them learn and grow so much throughout the years. Castlio’s sense of community is nothing short of amazing and I want to continue to build on the great community we have.”

And with Scholle’s leadership, the lighthouse of its community, Castlio Elementary, will keep shining bright.
