FHHS football wins state championship
Francis Howell High School (FHHS) Vikings made history at Faurot Field in front of a Howell fanbase of 10,000 plus students, parents, friends and community members. For the first time in program history, the football program won a state championship. Our Vikings finished the historic season undefeated 14-0 and averaged over a 34-point margin of victory over the course of those 14 games. The 14 victories also marked the most in a season in program history. The 2022 Howell Football team established themselves as the best to ever wear the blue and gold in the 54-year history of the football program.

The historic Friday began with a send-off and parade that included the entire school along with parents and family members. The football program was escorted along the parade route on campus by 14 first responder vehicles. Those vehicles led the Vikings all the way to the highway for their trip to Mizzou for the state title game.

The Vikings turned in yet another dominant performance on their way to the State Championship win with a final score of 49-21. The post-game excitement matched the performance on the field as Viking fans celebrated in the stands and made their way to the tunnel outside the stadium to meet our players as they left the stadium.
