Jeff Gruener named Bryan Middle School Principal

Mr. Jeff Gruener has been named as the Principal at Bryan Middle School. Gruener currently serves as Bryan’s interim principal.

Gruener has served the Francis Howell School District for 19 years. He was the assistant principal at Bryan for 11 years. Prior to joining the team at Bryan, Gruener served as assistant principal at Hollenbeck Middle School for seven years. He began his career in education working as a Special Education teacher for six years and an elementary educator for two.

In 2019, Gruener was recognized and inducted into the Howell of Fame. The award is one of the District’s highest and most prestigious honors.

Gruener’s goal is to ensure all students are taught the necessary skills to be successful in middle school and to reach their full potential in academics.

“I am honored to be the principal of such an amazing school!  The staff is talented, caring and dedicated. We have a wonderful group of students that we are lucky enough to work with every day,” said Gruener.

Gruener earned a master’s degree in Educational Leadership at Northern Arizona State University. He also holds an Educational Specialist degree from Lindenwood University.
