The Francis Howell School District, in partnership with our food service provider Sodexo, recently unveiled a new app aimed at providing nutritional information for families. So Happy is an easy-to-use menu and nutrition app allowing users to see all ingredients and allergens served in every meal served at school.

“The latest innovation from Sodexo – the So Happy app – allows parents and students to learn nutritional information about our menu on any mobile device,” said FHSD Sodexo Dietician Marilyn Colvin, RD. “This includes calories, carbs, proteins, allergens, suggested activities to burn calories, and more. It’s an easy way to stay connected and make better choices for a healthier future.”

Families and students can personalize their app to highlight any food items served in school that may contain an allergen and view calorie needs based on their activity level. The app also includes a Food and Nutrition Education section featuring promotions, current events, and recipes. Students can earn points and build characters within the gaming section of the app by logging food and activity.

This new app empowers students to make healthier choices, and we can all be “So Happy” about that.

Download the app today. Search for “So Happy” in Apple’s App Store or Android’s Google Play.
