Vacation Station

Thank you for your interest in Vacation Station!  We are delighted that you have chosen to review our program for your childcare needs. Our Vacation Station program will open at 6:30 AM and close at 6:00 PM.

Vacation Station offers programming on snow days for families enrolled in the Non-School Day component. Additional information about how to sign up for this care will be sent in the fall semester each year. Vacation Station snow day programming is open if the District’s Administration Building is open. If you choose to enroll in the snow day program, tuition will be charged only if your child attends the program on a snow day. Snow Day care is offered at consolidated locations. Program hours for Snow Day care are 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

PLEASE NOTE: In severe inclement weather conditions, Vacation Station Snow Day Sites will not open if the District Administration Building is closed.

If you are unsure of whether or not your snow day site is open, please call your program coordinator’s voicemail to hear a pre-recorded message.

If your child will not attend on a snow day, please let us know by calling the snow day site so that we may adjust staffing for the day.

What to bring to the snow day site:

• Students will need to bring a sack lunch labeled with their name and site with them to the snow day site. 
• If your child takes medication you will need to bring it to the snow day site in its original prescription bottle. You will also need to complete a medical authorization form and assure that doctor’s orders are on file at your snow day site.  Medications must be signed in and out by the parent/authorized pick up at the snow day site.
•  In order to participate in the snow day program, your child must be enrolled in the Non- School Day Program.

Vacation Station has an Elementary Summer program for all Francis Howell School District’s students entering Kindergarten through 5th grade. Programming is provided from 6:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at consolidated sites. This program is designed to provide fun and exciting activities for younger children. Field trips, special guests, and lesson plans are included in this program. 

Quest

QUEST is a summer-only program available for middle school students (incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th grade). Programming is provided from 6:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at a designated Francis Howell School District middle school campus. The campus is designed to provide fun and exciting activities for older children. Field trips, special guests, and service-learning opportunities are a part of the QUEST program.

We take enrollments on a first-come, first-served basis. If the program is full, your child will be added to our waiting list. Registration must be completed each school year.
